SPEEDWAY 1

MILDENHALL promoter Mick Horton has re-assured the club''s supporters that the club will continue in the Premier League at West Row in 2007.

The Fen Tigers held a forum after their last meeting to discuss their ongoing track issues but Horton feels these can be resolved.

He said: ''We''ve got a few problems that we''re ironing out and we all want Mildenhall to go forward and remain in the Premier League.''

SPEEDWAY 2

KENNETH Bjerre enjoyed his best home meeting of the season as holders Belle Vue booked their place in the last four of the Knockout Cup.

The Dane dropped just one point from five rides as the Aces overcame Arena-Essex to join Poole, Eastbourne and Coventry in the semi-finals.

Bjerre said: ''I''ve been struggling to make good starts this season but my mechanics have been working hard to get things right.''
