SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES 1.7.06
01 July 2006 - British Speedway Promoters Association

SPEEDWAY 1

EASTBOURNE have made changes to their squad with Jason Bunyan promoted to a doubling-up role and Kevin Doolan joining as No.8.
The move was dependant upon Bunyan''s successful return from injury for the Isle of Wight in the Premier League earlier this week.
Eagles co-promoter Jon Cook said: ''We are doing everything possible and I believe we now have a far stronger squad than we could have hoped for.''

SPEEDWAY 2

PAUL Clews has been given the go-ahead to return to the Stoke team after an extended spell out with concussion.
Clews had to wait to gain medical clearance following his crash at Loomer Road in early June.
He said: ''I have had the scan and been given the all-clear, although it''s a month since the accident so it will take me a few races to get tuned in.''
