NEATE TRUCKLINKS REUNION
03 July 2006 - Truck Links Honda

Top Supersport rider Steven Neate will contest the remainder of the 2006 British Supersport Championship as part of the Truck Links Honda team.

Truck Links Honda finalised a lease deal at the 11th hour that will see Steven run as a satellite team, using CBR600RRs.

Steven is enjoying a strong 2006 season that has included to date a front row starting position at Mondello Park and a wild card entry into the World Supersport event at Silverstone in May.

'' Over the winter , I committed myself to ride in the Spanish Championship to further my international hopes ,'' said Steven ''but by the time the first round of the British series at Brands Hatch came along I wanted to be on the grid.

“Luckily Angel racing came to my rescue. That enabled me to get to this stage in the series, for which I am eternally grateful. I know that I can keep pace with the frontrunners as I''ve proved on occasions this year and this new package should give me the opportunity to move to the next level,''

Truck Links Honda is of course no stranger to Steven after the teenager rode in the team''s distinctive livery during last year''s championship.

Truck Links Managing Director Steve Bright is delighted with the deal .''I didn''t want to lose Steven for this season but he''s young and he wanted to go to Spain . That level of ambition is to be applauded. We''re all looking forward to working with him for the remainder of the season and on behalf of Truck Links Honda I''d like to welcome him back ''
