“FULL COVERAGE OF RECORD-BREAKING ROAD RACING”
07 July 2006 - Duke Marketing Ltd

North West 200 2006 Review released on DVD

The official review of Ireland’s most famous road races - the Junction One North West 200 - is now available from Duke Video.

NW2006 takes you closer to the riders than ever before, with cameras covering every inch of the circuit’s dips, bends and 200mph straights. It features some of the biggest names in road racing, including John McGuiness, Robert Dunlop and Bruce Anstey.

The riders took advantage of clear skies and slick tyres to break lap records on the 8.9 mile circuit known as the ‘triangle’. Steve Plater fought off rivals to secure two superbike wins, setting a new outright lap record of 124.1mph (199.7kph).

Bruce Anstey took the superstock and supersport 600cc titles while Ian Hutchinson and Nigel Beattie scored race wins. Robert Dunlop’s victory in the 125/400cc class takes his tally to 15 wins, the highest in North West 200 history.
The review covers all six races using cameras in the air, trackside and mounted on the bikes. Postrace interviews, on-board laps with Steve Plater and Martin Finnegan and full commentary complete the coverage of some truly amazing racing.
North West 2006 is available now, priced at £14.99 on DVD, from leading video outlets or direct from Duke Video: Tel 01624 640000, fax 01624 640001 or email mail@dukevideo.com. Visit www.dukevideo.com.
