WOLVERHAMPTON bid to overturn a 17-point deficit when they face Eastbourne in the second leg of their Knockout Cup quarter-final at Monmore Green on Monday. Wolves lost seven points in the last two heats at Arlington in the first leg to leave them facing a tough assignment in the return fixture. However, they will be back at full strength for the fixture as they welcome back Christian Hefenbrock as a World Under-21 Finalist. The German youngster successfully negotiated the semi-final in Pocking on Sunday with a fourth-place finish in a meeting won by Grand Prix regular Antonio Lindback. There was heartbreak, however for Wolves doubling-up reserve Ben Wilson, who crashed out of the event in the practice session. Wilson sustained a possible broken bone in his hand and bruising to his back, and was ruled out of the meeting following a trip to hospital. He is expected to return to the UK on Monday for further treatment. WOLVERHAMPTON: Peter Karlsson, Christian Hefenbrock, Ronnie Correy, Fredrik Lindgren, Billy Hamill, William Lawson, Magnus Karlsson. EASTBOURNE: David Norris, Edward Kennett, Dean Barker, Adam Shields, Nicki Pedersen, Cameron Woodward, Lewis Bridger.
