SPEEDWAY 1

OXFORD have announced a squad change with Polish rider Stanislaw Burza joining as No.8 in place of Mathieu Tresarrieu.

And Burza could make his debut against Arena-Essex on Wednesday as Lubos Tomicek is struggling with injury.

Promoter Aaron Lanney said: ''Mathieu did well for us but I think Stanislaw is a better rider right now and the opportunity to sign him was too good to miss.''

SPEEDWAY 2

BEN Wilson was unable to take his place in the World Under-21 semi-final at Pocking on Sunday after crashing in practice and injuring a hand.

And there was a further blow for Great Britain with Edward Kennett not making it to Germany due to a passport mix-up.

Wilson''s Sheffield promoter Neil Machin said: ''It''s an absolute choker for the lad after all the effort that was put in.''

SPEEDWAY 3

THE SCB have issued an amendment to the result of the recent Elite League clash between Ipswich and Arena-Essex at Foxhall.
The 12 points scored by Arena guest Troy Batchelor have been erased as he was not eligible to ride for the Hammers at reserve.
Batchelor is declared as the Coventry No.8, and the result of the match has been changed to 57-25 in Ipswich''s favour.
