National Motorcycle Week is the annual campaign that demonstrates to the public, media and politicians the number of motorcyclists in the UK and at the same time it emphasises the important point that owners are from all walks of life and that riding has social, environmental and economic benefits. This year the slogan is: ‘HAVE YOU GOT THE ‘F’ FACTOR?’ – Freedom, fun, friendship and flexibility Ride to Work Day on 19th July - this is the day when all bike and scooter owners and encouraged to ride to work and if they can take a friend or colleague with them. The day will highlight that motorcycling cuts congestion, pollution, journey times and is convenient and flexible.
