SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES - 22 JUNE
22 June 2006 - British Speedway Promoters Association
SPEEDWAY 1 SOMERSET have moved to fill the gap left by Paul Fry''s injury by signing former Hull favourite Emil Kramer. The 26-year-old Swede will make his Rebels debut on Sunday in the Knockout Cup match at Mildenhall. Kramer said: ''Somerset has always been one of my favourite tracks, and one of the few that I would have wanted to come back to the UK to ride for.'' SPEEDWAY 2 STOKE promoter Dave Tattum believes there will be little or no home track advantage in Saturday''s Conference League Fours at Loomer Road. The event includes some of the best young talent in the country with all eight Conference clubs represented. Tattum said: ''We''re delighted to be putting it on again and our intention is to provide a track that is fair to all the teams competing.''
