The event kicks off Friday, August 25 around 12 noon with AMA Supermoto practice sessions and qualifying and finish under the lights with the amazing backdrop of the city skyline and the majestic Rocky Mountains. Saturday, August 26 will also be filled with more race action, concerts, stunt shows, vendors, food, drinks and much more. “We are excited about bringing the race down from the mountains of Copper and having it in our backyard. This venue will be AWESOME!” said M1 Entertainment President and Owner Cameron Gray. “We’re truly exited to host the 2006 Cyclefest at INVESCO Field at Mile High. The new location for the event outside INVESCO Field will provide first time attendees and the many long-time Cyclefest fans with outstanding vantage points of the race course along side numerous other entertainment options onsite. This is a fantastic festival & event with a long history of success that we’re excited to have in Denver this year,” stated Andy Gorchov, Director of Stadium Operations, INVESCO Field at Mile High when asked about adding AMA Supermoto to the summer events at INVESCO. Danny Walker with American Supercamp will once again be Head of Supermoto Operations for M1. “Cyclefest has always provided a unique and exciting venue for AMA Supermoto. INVESCO at Mile High will continue that tradition, if not set a new standard. I am extremely excited about this venue and this track. This will be like nothing the racers have seen yet,” raved Danny when asked about this upcoming event. So mark your calendars for August 25-26 at INVESCO Field at Mile High, Denver, CO where this is guaranteed not to be your typical weekend in the Rockies.
