Birds On Bikes 3 day UK Charity Motorcycle Ride to take place later this year

This Sunday (25th June 2006) Kim the founder of Birds On Bikes will be at the forthcoming Knockhill Bike Fair with Ed (who has been assisting Kim with organising the event) in seeking fun fearless females who love biking, to take part in the exciting Birds On Bikes 3 day UK Charity Motorcycle Ride later this year.

25+ lady bikers will be taking to the high roads and low roads all in aid of breasts! Yip that rights not only will they be raising money for BREAST CANCER CAMPAIGN by taking part in a 3 day UK motorcycle ride starting in Edinburgh calling at York, Birmingham finishing in Cardiff, “Team” Birds On Bikes are also helping to raise the profile of lady bikers!! The boys aren’t left out either as Birds On Bikes fully recognise that breast cancer can effect the blokes too! Men are encouraged to take part also if they are feeling brave enough!!

An assortment of motorcycling abilities will be taking part in the charity ride, reflected in the line up of various bikes from that of the high powered sports bikes to that of shiny chromed cruising machines, which will make for a mighty fine sight as they rumble through the many towns and villages on the biker friendly/motorway free route.

Ladies who are thinking about taking part but aren’t too sure there is no pressure at all, they can take part in one day, two days or if they are feeling really up for it all three days of the adventure! The pace will be relaxed and to suit all riding capabilities with dedicated out riders to keep the flock together & safe. The main point is that everyone enjoys the whole adventure, so Kim & Ed are encouraging ladies to do whatever they have to do, be it ship the kids of to their grans, stock the freezer with ready cook meals for the hubby, book a cat/dog/goldfish sitter & join Team Birds On Bikes!!

As a token of thanks from Birds On Bikes, fully registered participants will receive a little goodie bag full of bike related bling and the lady who raises the most amount of money for BREAST CANCER CAMPAIGN will receive the ultimate “Gold” goodie bag!!

On a serious note Birds On Bikes have achieved so much already and strive to continue with the work of raising as much money as possible for charity while also making the public and the biking world more aware of the lady bikers out there.
