ARAI LAUNCH NEW ASTRO LIGHT

Arai will shortly be launching the new Astro Light, a helmet manufactured specifically for children and smaller ladies.

Demand for smaller sized helmets is strong especially for children and the Astro Light takes into account that a child is still in the stages of development. The smaller shell offers a lighter option and better proportions between the rider and the helmet, not sitting too close to the shoulders of the wearer as is often the case with children wearing helmets designed for the fully developed adult.

Features include a new lighter complex laminate shell, the helmet vents have been specially adapted to fit the smaller shell and the interior is fully removable and uses Dry Cool® interior fabric for added comfort and a luxurious feeling and fit. The chin strap fastening has also been re-located to fit a child’s neck and jaw line.

The Astro Light will be sized XXXS (49 – 50cm), available in White, Aluminium Silver and Pearl Black and will retail at £329.99 and be available from July 2006.
