WOLVES 44 PETERBOROUGH 46 HANS Andersen''s imperious 18-point maximum was the difference between the sides as Wolves lost their unbeaten home record in another Monmore thriller. Andersen pulled off six straight wins, including the crucial Heat 15 decider, to hand Panthers the win in their first outing without ex-Wolf Jesper B Jensen, who suffered a shoulder injury 24 hours earlier in Poland. The teams went into the decider locked together at 42-42 and things looked good for the Panthers when Niels-Kristian Iversen gated and was joined at the front by Andersen going into the third bend. But Billy Hamill lost control and slid towards the fence at the start of the second lap causing the stoppage of the race, and referee Robbie Perks called a re-run with three riders only. At first, it appeared as though Karlsson was about to salvage a draw for Wolverhampton, only for Andersen to cleverly switch inside and blast his way to a magnificent full house, showing exactly why he should be in the Grand Prix series on a full-time basis. Wolves appeared to struggle with set-ups all evening, and only managed to provide four heat-winners - two from reserve Christian Hefenbrock as Karlsson was upstaged by Andersen each time they met. WOLVERHAMPTON: Peter Karlsson 11, Christian Hefenbrock 9+3, Ronnie Correy 8, Magnus Karlsson 5+2, Fredrik Lindgren 5+2, Billy Hamill 5, Ben Wilson 1+1. PETERBOROUGH: Hans Andersen 18, Niels-Kristian Iversen 12, Ryan Sullivan 9+1, Karol Zabik 4+1, Richard Hall 3, Ulrich Ostergaard 0, r/r for Jesper B Jensen.
