SPEEDWAY JASON Crump took a huge step towards regaining the World title when he won the British Grand Prix at a packed Millennium Stadium on Saturday. The Australian took advantage of a re-start in the Final to head home Andreas Jonsson and Jarek Hampel after Greg Hancock had crashed. Crump''s closest rival Nicki Pedersen scored just four points whilst Scott Nicholls was the best British rider as he reached the semi-finals. SPEEDWAY 2 JASON Crump''s British Grand Prix win leaves him a massive 34 points clear of American ace Greg Hancock in the World Championship standings. Crump has three wins and a second for 95 points from the four events so far, whilst Hancock has made three Finals. Nicki Pedersen drops to third, two points behind Hancock with Andreas Jonsson jumping into the top six on 43 thanks to his second place at Cardiff.
