SPEEDWAY 1

OXFORD have re-signed their former rider Ales Dryml on loan from Peterborough to replace Freddie Eriksson.

Dryml was part of the Cheetahs'' Elite League winning team of 2001, and he makes his return to Cowley on Wednesday against Reading.

Promoter Aaron Lanney said: ''Freddie is in my thinking for the future, but Ales will bolster our side and help ease the pressure on our No.1 Todd Wiltshire.''

SPEEDWAY 2

PETERBOROUGH have been hit by an injury to flying Dane Jesper B Jensen, who suffered shoulder and collarbone damage after crashing in Poland on Sunday.

Jensen underwent an operation in Bydgoszcz last night and is now waiting to discover how long he will be ruled out for.

The injury definitely costs him an appearance at this weekend''s Danish Grand Prix, where he was due to be a track reserve.

SPEEDWAY 3

POOLE are keen to emphasise that Monday night''s Elite League clash with Arena-Essex definitely goes ahead as planned.

Sky TV bosses elected to switch their live fixture to Wolverhampton, but that does not affect the running of the match at Wimborne Road.

Pirates boss Neil Middleditch said: ''We rode extremely well to beat Swindon last week, and it would be nice if we could pull off another big win.''
