CIRCUIT DE CATALUNYA TO HOST MOTOGP FOR ANOTHER FIVE YEARS
18 June 2006 - Moto GP

Dorna Sports and Circuit de Catalunya are pleased to announce that a new agreement has been reached for the MotoGP Gran Premi de Catalunya to continue at the Circuit de Catalunya.

The renewed agreement between the MotoGP World Championship commercial rights-holders Dorna and the Circuit de Catalunya is for a duration of five years (2007-2011).

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, was pleased to announce the renewal, “I am happy that we have been able to reach this agreement for the Circuit de Catalunya to continue on the MotoGP World Championship calendar for another five years. The Circuit has collaborated with Dorna ever since we entered the championship in 1992 and every year has seen a successful event which we hope will continue long into the future.”

Josep Bargalló, chairman of the Circuit de Catalunya Consortium remarked, ''I am also very satisfied with the renewal of the agreement with Dorna. It also gives me great pleasure to be able to announce it during the Grand Prix event here at the Circuit de Catalunya.''
