GOING TO THE BRITISH INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW?
06 June 2006 - BEN Motor & Alied Trades Benevolent Fund
Well, Why Not Buy your Tickets from BEN and Support the Automotive Industry''s Own Charity
Organisers of this year''s British International Motor Show have kindly donated to BEN, the Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund, tickets to sell for both its Evening Standard Preview Night on 19 July and show tickets for the second week. So, if you are planning to go, get your tickets from BEN and the revenue will go directly to help the Fund to support those in need. Gerard Barclay, Chief Executive of BEN said, ''We are extremely grateful to the Organisers for the opportunity to raise funds through ticket sales and would ask our friends within the industry for their support in purchasing them directly from BEN.'' For those keen to be first off the grid, beat the crowds and see the amazing line up of cars and world premieres, limited edition tickets to the Evening Standard Preview Night are available from BEN for Wednesday 19 July. Tickets are priced at £30 and include a complimentary glass of champagne. BEN will also be selling weekday tickets priced at £8 for advance bookings, to visit the Show from 24 July to 28 July. The British International Motor Show is the biggest consumer show in the UK, attracting around 500,000 visitors. After nearly thirty years the show is returning to London with a radically new format and a whole host of entertainment. Taking full advantage of ExCeL London''s dockside setting, the new-look show will blend the traditional indoor car exhibits with a full programme of outdoor displays and entertainment designed for the broadest possible appeal. With the show open late most evenings, visitors will be able to dine and drink al fresco in the summer weather at the waterside cafés, relax and soak up the atmosphere of the live outdoor evening rock and pop concerts, and take in the exciting powerboat and jet-ski action on the water. Tickets can be purchased from Laura Redman, BEN Events, on 01344 294714 or email laura.redman@ben.org.uk
