ARENA-ESSEX v WOLVERHAMPTON - WEDNESDAY JUNE 7

PARRYS International Wolves go in search of their first away win of the season on Wednesday with a trip to Purfleet - scene of one of several near misses on the road so far.

Wolves were edged out 46-44 in the Elite League ''A'' fixture against the Hammers last month, but went into that meeting without two of their top three as both Billy Hamill and Fredrik Lindgren injured.

With the pair back and in good form, and Arena requiring a controversial last-heat 5-0 to beat Coventry at home last week, Wolves will travel with optimism that they can end the Hammers'' unbeaten home run.

Ben Wilson comes back into the team at reserve with William Lawson expected to be out for some weeks due to a two breaks in his elbow, an injury which was confirmed in a hospital visit earlier this week.

Christian Hefenbrock is also back after World Junior Team Cup duty on Monday, whilst the Hammers should have Polish reserve Mariusz Puszakowski back in their line-up.
ARENA-ESSEX: Mikael Max, r/r for Henning Bager, Leigh Lanham, Steve Johnston, Joonas Kylmakorpi, Mariusz Puszakowski, Paul Hurry.

WOLVES: Peter Karlsson, Magnus Karlsson, Ronnie Correy, Fredrik Lindgren, Billy Hamill, Ben Wilson, Christian Hefenbrock.
