ANNUAL MOTOGP “NIGHT WITH THE STARS”
13 June 2006 - NORTH YORKSHIRE ROAD RACING SUPPORTERS CLUB

CLUB AMADEUS, NORTHALLERTON starring COLIN EDWARDS and CASEY STONER plus John McGuinness and Michael Rutter

On Tuesday, 27th June 2006 “Texas Tornado” Colin Edwards will once again be appearing at the Club Amadeus in Northallerton.

The Camel Yamaha rider’s visits to the North Yorkshire market town have become part of his build up to the British Grand Prix since he switched from World Superbikes where he was a double Champion.

Colin will be joined by Australian Casey Stoner who is having a sensational first season in MotoGP after moving up from the 250cc GP class.

Joining the two stars of MotoGP will be Stobart Honda British Superbike rider Michael Rutter who flies in from a family holiday to be there but one of the loudest cheers will be for TT Hero John McGuinness who just last week secured a hat-trick of wins in the Isle of Man and set a new lap record of nearly 130mph!

Joining the racers on stage will be HRC’s Sporting Manager Chris Herring, Eurosport’s MotoGP commentator Julian Ryder and Sky’s British Superbike presenter Keith Huewen.

Hosting the evening will be Larry Carter, the British Superbike Championship pit lane presenter and the only Brit sure to be on the podium at the British GP!

The event will raise money to further the careers of racers from the area, one of whom is Dan Linfoot from Knaresborough who is now competing in the 250cc World Championship. Dan too win be attending his local event.

Further guests are to be confirmed later.

See the web site: www.nyrrsc.net for updates or phone Norman Bradley on 01423 780624.

Doors open 7.00pm / Showtime 8.00pm.

Admission (on the door) is £8.00 (£5.00 for NYRRSC members.)
