BRITAX GOES INTENSE AT CIWM 2006
16 June 2006 - Britax PMG

CIWM 2006 marks the show debut for a new range of high performance, high intensity ‘fit and forget’ LED hazard warning products from Britax PMG and displayed by company on its stand (No T78) in Torbay Park.

Applicable to virtually all mobile and static equipment employed by local authorities and private contractors handling all from precinct cleaning and park/highway maintenance through to collection and recycling/disposal of domestic and trade waste, the new 12V high intensity LED range includes the L33 and L34 light units - the former a 3 Optix unit, the latter a six.

The units are supplied through Britax PMG sister company Code 3 that is based in the USA where the units have already gained a fine reputation for performance and longevity in front line service.

Both can be used ‘stand alone’, in combination (the L33 can be synchronised with other Optix units that use the same three up LED driver) or integrated into a light bar.

Part of Britax PMG’s comprehensive range of ‘see and be seen’ vehicle and vehicle mounted lighting, including hazard warning beacons and bars, plus reflectors, switches, connectors and driving mirrors, the high performance LED units carry a full five year warranty. Bulb replacement is never required, the units are both shock and water resistant and power draw is a modest 0.5amps, only.

Available as either OE or as a retrofit, the L33 (three way) and L34 (six way) are supplied with a clear polycarbonate lens as standard, the L33 with LEDs in amber or red and with up to five flash patterns. LEDs in the L34 can be supplied in amber/amber or amber/red combinations and with up to seven flash patterns – from strobing cycle to steady burn.

The L33 and L34 are part of a comprehensive display of beacons, light bars and auxiliary/mandatory lighting on the company’s stand, the display illustrating the wide range of equipment Britax PMG provides (either as OE or via the aftermarket) to all sectors – from escort and recovery vehicles through to plant and machinery.
