BELL M2 SAMURAI HELMET
09 June 2006 - Bell Helmets

BELL has introduced two eye catching new colour schemes for its popular M2 touring helmet, which was previously only available in plain colours.

The simple colours and swirling lines of the graphics complement the helmet’s classic motor sport-inspired appearance.

The outer shell is manufactured from light composite fibre in two external sizes to ensure an accurate fit and the M2 Samurai weighs just 1350g. Owners can remove the injection-moulded visor without any tools, as it has a twist-to-open retaining mechanism, similar to those on many auto sport helmets. The surface is treated with Optivision™ anti-fog inside, as well as being anti-scratch and having a UV filter.

Comfort is a priority for Bell. The interior liner is made from Coolmax™ sport fabric and may be removed for washing and, as an added bonus it is treated with Dry Fast™ to reduce odours. The cheek pads are removable and changeable for a better, more personal fit. Ventilation is provided via click-to-open vents, which drag and direct air through ducts in the EPS inner shell to guarantee a high continuous airflow rate, even at low speeds. To reduce noise the front air vents are flush with the outer shell and the warm air is extracted through a vent at the back of the shell.

The BELL M2 Samurai helmet is fastened with a sport style double D-Ring buckle and is ACU Gold approved for track use. This extremely light and comfortable helmet is available in sizes XS-XL in a choice of soft white/blue or gloss black/red priced at £159.99.

The first production BELL helmet was manufactured in the USA in 1954. In 1991 BELL Motorcycle Europe was established to manufacture helmets in Italy, thus improving prices and distribution for European riders.
