WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY PREVIEW
28 May 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway

WOLVERHAMPTON skipper Peter Karlsson is warning his side to expect a tough test when they face Elite League bottom club Oxford at Monmore on Monday (7.30pm).

The Cheetahs include former Monmore favourites David Howe and Adam Skornicki, both specialists around the Wolverhampton track.

Former Grand Prix ace Todd Wiltshire also makes his first Monmore appearance since his comneback after retirement.

Karlsson said: ''They might be bottom, but they''ve got riders who can be a real danger to us around our own track.

''Of Course Adam and David will have a point to prove, they''ll want to score some big points and we''ll have to stop them. I believe it could be a good match.''

Ben Wilson, who will be reserve at the British Grand Prix in the Millennium Stadium on Saturday, makes a return to the Wolves side in one of the reserve positions.

And in what promises to be a feast of action for the fans, there will be a junior challenge immediately after the main event featuring the Wolf Cubs and a team representing the sadly defunct Hull Vikings who are now searching for a new home venue.

WOLVES: Peter Karlsson, Magnus Karlsson, Ronnie Correy, Freddie Lindgre, Billy Hamill, Ben Wilson, Christian Hefenbrock.
OXFORD: Todd Wiltshire, Davey Watt, Adam Skornicki, Freddie Eriksson, David Howe, Lubos Tomicek, Eric Andersson.
