PLEASE NOTE START-TIME FOR COVENTRY v EASTBOURNE ON MONDAY IS 8PM, NOT 7.30PM - PLEASE ADJUST ACCORDINGLY SPEEDWAY 1 READING pulled off an astonishing 48-42 win at Eastbourne on Saturday - despite being without their top three riders in the season so far. Hans Andersen superbly deputised for Greg Hancock with a 15-point maximum as the Bulldogs also covered for Matej Zagar and Janusz Kolodziej. Team boss Jim Lynch said: ''The team really upped their game and it was a fantastic effort. I was really proud of them.'' SPEEDWAY 2 ROBBIE Kessler paid tribute to everyone involved in his successful Testimonial meeting at Stoke on Saturday. The four-team tournament was won by the home team, with Coventry''s Rory Schlein taking the honours in the individual event which followed. Kessler said: ''It was a brilliant turn-out and I''d like to thank everyone who came to watch or take part. Everyone has played a big part in a terrific night.''
