SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES - 27 MAY
27 May 2006 - British Speedway Promoters Association
SPEEDWAY 1 KRZYSZTOF Kasprazak is set for another spell on the sidelines after breaking his collarbone for the second time in a month. The Pole crashed when he suffered a mechanical failure during a testing session at Leszno and he will miss Poole''s next home match, against Wolves. Kasprzak is now racing against time to be fit for several big meetings in the coming weeks, including the Elite League Pairs. SPEEDWAY 2 NEWCASTLE duo Josef Franc and Christian Henry have declared themselves fit for the Diamonds'' weekend Cup clashes with Workington. But Adam McKinna, also hurt in a brusing night on the Isle of Wight last Tuesday, faces a time out with a broken scaphoid. Co-promoter George English said: ''It''s a tough tie but if we can limit Workington to a ten-point advantage, we''ll set up a cracking second leg at our place.''
