SPEEDWAY 1

BOSTON''S teenage skipper Simon Lambert has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a badly broken arm after crashing at Stoke last week.
The Barrcauda-Braves will go clear at the top of the Conference League with a win over Rye House on Friday.
James Birkinshaw has been installed as the club''s new captain, and said: ''We are desperate to win it for Simon.''

SPEEDWAY 2

INJURED Arena-Essex star Henning Bager should find out shortly how long he is to be out of action with a shoulder injury.
The Dane, who has made a fine start to the season, crashed in Germany over the weekend.
Promoter Ronnie Russell said: ''I am still waiting for news from the specialist on the extent of the injury, which I hope to get in a few days.''
