Harley-Davidson V-Rod Hits the Big Screen in X-Men: The Last Stand
Harley-Davidson’s VRSCA V-Rod has been critically-acclaimed since its launch in 2001, winning awards world-wide for its revolutionary design and styling, and now this stunning performance cruiser is breaking through the big screen as Cyclops’ motorcycle in the upcoming blockbuster X-Men: The Last Stand.
Played by James Marsden, Cyclops – known for his exciting vehicles from the previous two X-Men blockbusters – now takes to the road on his specially ''X'' branded V-Rod and with its powerful 115bhp Revolution V-twin engine and futuristic styling this V-Rod is bound to turn heads.
However, the V-Rod is not only the choice of mutants with superhuman powers. Stars across the globe, including England and Real Madrid star David Beckham and F1 ace Michael Schumacher, have made this Harley-Davidson their motorcycle of choice.
Britney Spears liked the V-Rod so much it received a headlining role in her ''I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll'' music video and in 2003 Keanu Reeves is reported to have rewarded the 12 stuntmen he worked with on a particularly tough scene with a V-Rod each!
Launched in 2001, the Harley-Davidson V-Rod has won over 30 major awards from the design industry and international motorcycle press. The V-Rod’s combination of a powerful, liquid cooled V-twin engine and head-turning custom cruiser styling has made it one of Europe’s most popular Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The X-Men V-Rod will not be available to buy, but look out for ways to win this exclusive motorcycle in national press and online throughout May 2006.
The worldwide premiere of X-Men 3: The Last Stand will be at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, 17-28 May 2006. For further information visit www.x-menthelaststand.com or to view the ''X'' V-Rod visit www.harley-davidson.com
