LATIN-AMERICAN TRIALS CHAMPIONSHIP

Diego Ordoņez is in first place

The Sherco-Motomania rider Diego Ordoņez of Guatemala, is in first place in the Latin-American Trials Championship after the first two of four rounds. He is currently leading the Colombian rider Carlos Peláez in the overall standings.

The 16 year old demonstrated a very high skill level over all the other competitors. Third place was disputed between two Venezuelans; the first day third place went to the Scorpa-Yamaha rider Aulestia and on the second day third place went to the Montesa rider Ignacio Rivas.
