SPEEDWAY 1 EDWARD Kennett and Jason King took full advantage of their late World Under-21 reprieve to qualify from Sunday''s meeting at Sheffield. The duo were included in the line-up when two Russian riders were unable to appear due to visa issues, and both finished in the top eight. Pole Karol Zabik won the meeting, and James Wright made it three British qualifiers by finishing in fourth place overall. SPEEDWAY 2 KING''S Lynn are through to the semi-finals of the Premier Trophy after a nervous finale at Newport on Sunday. Newport won the meeting 48-45, but had they taken an advantage from the last race Lynn would have finished beind Somerset on points difference.
