Advanced Motorcycle Training.Com an introduction to Advanced Motorcycle training and assessment.
Advanced Motorcycle Training.Com is an independent motorcycle training and assessment consultancy based in Staffordshire. It is run by a serving qualified Police Advanced Instructor for cars and motorcycles, who is also a R.O.S.P.A. examiner and who has also successfully passed a NVQ 3 Training and Development and BTEC course for Advanced Motorcycle Training & Instruction. It offers tailor made training, assessment and development courses, which commences with the first contact, meeting the requirements of the individual rider, and taking Advanced riding to the next level. It has it’s own website, which attracts clients from all over the world. All Advanced Motorcycle Training.Com courses are one to one at all times, but if you want to do a course with a friend additional Assessors who are very experienced riders and are trained to Police Advanced standards are provided. All the courses have been designed to identify any bad habits picked up during your motorcycling and to develop your riding skills. To be truthful you can not learn Advanced riding overnight, but you can pick up some tips and advice that you can build upon. Advanced Motorcycle Training.Com is one of the few Advanced training consultancies that offers it’s clients the opportunity to have their riding videoed by use of an onboard video camera system. The video recorder is a new Sony Video GV 800 Digital video Walkman which is fixed in a tank bag, with instant playback through the 4'' screen. The camera has now been bike mounted, giving excellent digital playback. All courses run by our consultant are now videoed and your recorded footage from the day can be edited and transferred to DVD or VHS. The Walkman is connected to the ‘Autocom’ communications system, so you get instant commentary and feed back whilst on the move. The footage can then be discussed during the day. Over the years it has found that the following areas are where the skills will be developed most :- BEND ASSESSMENT – POSITIONING – OBSERVATION – CONFIDENCE - SAFETY The courses are not about going as fast as you can. You will sometimes feel this is happening, but you will find you will develop a smoother progressive and more constant type of riding. This often feels a lot faster than before. Every rider has his or her limits and on all courses they will not be exceeded. You will ride within your own limits under the expert guidance of an Assessor at all times.
