POOLE secured the aggregate bonus point against Peterborough in a dramatic run-off which saw Antonio Lindback beat Jesper B Jensen.

The Pirates had gone down by just six points at the Showground despite being without both Bjarne Pedersen and Krzysztof Kasprzak due to injury.

Team boss Neil Middleditch said: ''We showed a lot of character to overcome the loss of our two top riders, and Lindback''s ride in the run-off was awesome.''

STOKE have been boosted by the return to fitness of Alan Mogridge ahead of a busy weekend of racing.

Mogridge has been suffering from a strained back but will take his place in a run of three matches in three days.

Promoter Dave Tattum said: ''Moggo has recovered and is keen to be included in the busy spell we have. We are looking for a good showing in each meeting.''
