WEYMOUTH have submitted their new planning application to bring the sport back to the Wessex Stadium.
If the proposal is heard and accepted at the meeting in July, the Wildcats are likely to enter the Conference Shield competition later this season.
New owner Phil Bartlett said: ''The noise tests were useful and we''ve made arrangements for some screening to be in place. We hope common sense prevails.''

POOLE skipper Bjarne Pedersen is out of this week''s vital matches against Peterborough due to a wrist injury.
The Pirates have called up Lee Richardson to guest at Wimborne Road on Wednesday, with Simon Stead stepping in for Thursday''s return.
Pedersen said: ''Although I would love to be riding this week, I am far from race fit and would find it very difficult to hang on to the bike.''
