WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY: MAJOR SETBACK
WOLVERHAMPTON have suffered a massive blow ahead of their away trips to Arena-Essex on Wednesday and Ipswich on Thursday. With Billy Hamill having been ruled out due to his thigh burn sustained against Reading a fortnight ago, Wolves have been further weakened by the loss of Fredrik Lindgren who crashed in Sweden on Tuesday. Lindgren has internal bleeding to a leg injury and requires further treatment which will keep him out of the next two matches. Wolves will use rider replacement for Hamill, and have called up former Arena rider Dean Barker to guest for Lindgren at Purfleet on Wednesday. They are yet to decide on who will stand in for the Swede at Foxhall on Thursday.
