** SEASON BEGINS WELL……….**
08 May 2006 - Alexz Wigg
Since last contacting you the season has really got underway, and to be honest results have been better than we could have hoped for, so as you can imagine I am very pleased with my riding at the moment.
In the British Championships, ACU A Class and YMSA I am leading both on maximum points having won all rounds so far. Also after somewhat nervous first laps running second in the World Trials Championships (youth) and UEM European (junior) after two rounds of each championship in Spain and Portugal. In the World Championship I am currently leading the special class for the first time riders, called “the young hopefuls” again on maximum points. Below is a list of recent results of which I am very proud. This fantastic start to 2006 is hopefully going to continue, many thanks for your support it is much appreciated. Next up is the Adult British championships the Mitchell Trial then it’s a long flight to the USA for the two world rounds in Tennessee! 2006 Results 19-2 A Class round 1 Dob Park First 12-3 YMSA round 1 Dudwood First 19-3 A Class round 2 Otter Vale First 26-3 British Adult Champs St. Davids First youth (second overall expert adults) 1-4 UEM European Junior Champs Spain Second 2-4 WTC Youth Championship Spain Second 8-4 UEM Junior Champs Portugal Third 9-4 WTC Youth Portugal Second 23-4 A Class round 3 Scarborough First 30-4 YMSA round 2 Tansley First 6/7-5 IOW 2 Day First (overall) So still room for improvement! Special thanks for help over the last few weeks to Stuart Robinson, Andrew Chandler, John Sands and practice buddy Sam Connor. All the best, Alexz Wigg
