RED BULL KTM SUPERMOTO JUNIOR EURO-CUP RIDER SEARCH

On May 6 the Red Bull KTM Supermoto Junior Euro Cup- Rider Search was held at Harzring in Germany.

80 young and promising talents from 12 European countries, aged between 15 and 21, competed under observation of KTM team manager Klaus Kinigadner and German Supermoto Champion Jürgen Kuenzel. In the morning the young riders had to pass training skills to get a feeling for the new bike and training runs on demanding Harzring, followed by the qualification races in the afternoon. Although some of the rookies experienced difficulties in the off road section, most of them showed a strong performance.

In the finals the Finnish rider Mauno Hermunen and 21 other riders as well as five substitutes received a ticket for Red Bull KTM Supermoto Junior Euro Cup. The first race will take part on July 22nd on the Island of Sardegna (ITA).

KTM provides SX-F250 Supermotos for the high class Junior Cup races. The attractive rider’s package contains complete riding gear, bike rental fee, insurance, catering as well as admission charges, which are paid back when attending the race.

KTM, Red Bull and Dunlop arrange Europe’s top and best endowed rookie cup, which has become a jumping-off place for a professional racing career.
