SPEEDWAY 1 PETERBOROUGH have signed Polish star Piotr Swiderski as a permanent replacement for the axed Tomasz Bajerski. Swiderski, who almost joined Arena-Essex during the winter, will make his Panthers debut at Poole on Wednesday in place of short-term signing Jonas Raun. Club owner Colin Horton said: ''Piotr comes highly recommended by some top riders, and he will do a great job for us.'' SPEEDWAY 2 NEWCASTLE youngster Adam McKinna hopes to return from injury this weekend after suffering concussion and knee ligament damage. McKinna missed the Diamonds'' derby win over Berwick on Sunday followng his crash at Redcar. Newcastle boss George English said: ''Adam''s memory was all over the place after his smash and although the old seven-day concussion ban doesn''t apply any more, we must be sensible about giving him time off.''
