WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY
30 August 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association

WOLVERHAMPTON can take another massive step towards booking a home draw in the Elite League play-offs when they face Belle Vue at Monmore tonight (7.30pm).

The Monmore men, who let a commanding lead slip away at Swindon last night, will be determined to bounce back against an Aces side who include former Monmore favourite Ronnie Correy. Chris Neath will ride in the Wolves side despite riding for his Premier League club Rye House in the afternoon. Wolverhampton boss Peter Adams said: ''Belle Vue are well behind with the fixtures but we cannot take anything for granted. ''They have the British Champion in Joe Screen and, of course, the world championship leader Jason Crump and they cannot be underestimated. I expect a tough match.'' The meeting will complete a hectic day for the Manchester club as they were due at Oxford at midday.

WOLVES: Mikael Max, Daniel Nermark R/R, Freddie Lindgren, Sam Ermolenko, David Howe, Chris Neath, Adam Skornicki. BELLE VUE: Kenneth Bjerre, Rory Schlein, Ronnie Correy, Joe SCreen, Jason Crump, Jan Jaros, Brent Werner.
