YAMAHA AND MUJI JOIN FORCES

Scooter & motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha and Japanese lifestyle retailer, Muji, have joined forces to run a consumer promotion and competition.

This forms part of a strategic campaign to promote Muji’s Autumn/Winter men’s and women’s urban wear and Yamaha’s new 125cc commuter scooter, the CygnusX. A synergy that works, because Muji products are aimed at the style-conscious urban audience and like Yamaha scooters combine simple streamlined design with functionality, reliability and value.

The London based promotion combines in-store and window displays, competitions in the press and in-store, direct mail and website support. A competition in ES Magazine on 27th August kick-starts the campaign, offering 4 CygnusX scooters & £250 Muji vouchers to spend on Muji fashion. The ES Magazine competition page also flags the start date of the Muji in-store competition, which runs from 30th August to 22nd September inclusive, where a further scooter and vouchers are offered as prizes.
