SPEEDWAY NEWS & FIXTURES 24 APRIL
24 April 2006 - British Speedway Promoters Association
SPEEDWAY 1 KING''S LYNN co-promoter Jonathan Chapman has labelled Premier League newcomers Mildenhall a ''problem team''. Chapman has issued a verbal swipe ahead of the Premier Trophy meetings between the teams this week. The first leg is at Lynn on Wednesday with the return on Sunday. He said: ''Mildenhall are quickly getting a reputation in the Premier League of being a problem team, not just on the track but off of it too!'' SPEEDWAY 2 COVENTRY should have German reserve Martin Smolinski back in their side for the mid-week trip to Oxford. Smolinski suffered concussion after a horrifying high speed crash in Pocking last week and missed Coventry''s visit to Wolverhampton. Boss Colin Pratt said: ''All the indications are that Martin should be available again for Wednesday and we look forward to having him back. He''s a key member of our team.''
