CRESCENT''S SECOND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS A ROARING SUCCESS
25 August 2004 - Crescent Suzuki Performance Centre

JOHN REYNOLDS, Yukio Kagayama and the Crescent Performance Centre are sending out a big `THANK YOU'' to everyone who made the trip to the dealership''s second birthday celebrations in Verwood, Dorset last weekend.

Nearly 8,000 bikers made their way to Crescent''s annual birthday bash to join in the fun, games and competitions, as well as meeting Rizla Suzuki racers JR and Yuki and grabbing a bargain at the same time.

With discounts throughout the store on top brand names like Alpinestars, RS Taichi, Arai, RST, Oakley, Belstaff, Yoshimura, Marchesini and Rizla Suzuki replica clothing, there was something for everyone.

Taking a break from the shopping, there were attractions for every visitor. The Hants and Dorset police were on hand demonstrating the benefits of Bikesafe on the road, the Arai Service truck sorted any helmet queries, the Suzuki Village kept the crowd entertained, Midas Interactive brought along the soon to be launched Crescent Suzuki Racing PS2 game and Dynojet was busy figuring the horsepower of many of the bikes to visit.

On top of that there were competitions galore. Q8Oils gave away 50-litres of its performance enhancing oil, MCN found the most powerful naturally aspirated GSX-R in the country, Fast Bikes awarded prizes for the best looking bikes on show and there was a free prize draw for fantastic motorcycle accessories and team clothing.

Not to forget the live MotoGP racing from Brno on the big screens, a charity auction, lots of leggy girls dressed in lycra and a grid girl competition to find JR and Yuki delicious honeys to join them on the grid at a race.

Martyn James, retail director for Crescent said: ''What a fantastic weekend and I want to thank everyone who came along and enjoyed themselves, it was a real blast for the visitors and the dealership.

''I''d also like to thank all our partners for supporting us so much, including Dynojet, Harris Performance, Phoenix Distribution''s Wendy Hearn and David Brewin for working so hard upstairs in-store, Graham North from AGV and RST importer Motodirect, Bob Ingles for supplying the Suzuki Village with Gary on the PA, Pete and Theresa from Dread, Gary and Tilly from Triboseat, Dorset and Hants Bikesafe unit, MCN, Express Insurance, Fast Bikes, Q8Oils, Midas Interactive and anyone else I might have forgotten.

''This was the most successful weekend yet and we will be repeating it again next year when I am sure many of the people who visited this year will return. I hope so, because we plan to make it even bigger than ever.''

You can still sign up to the Crescent Suzuki Customer Loyalty Card and get 10 per cent discount in-store up until the end of the year (subject to conditions) by visiting the Performance Centre in Verwood. Crescent and Rizla Suzuki will be on display at the NEC show in Birmingham between November 4th - 14th.
