SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES 21 APRIL
21 April 2006 - British Speedway Promoters Association
SPEEDWAY 1 SWINDON boss Alun Rossiter is backing club record signing Lee Richardson to race back to his best in the near future. The British Grand Prix star has struggled for form in recent meetings for the Robons. Rossiter said: ''I''m 100 per cent behind Lee and I know he is working hard to put things right. He has been through a blip of late, but everybody knows his proven ability and I am confident we will soon see him back at his best.'' SPEEDWAY 2 THOUSANDS of fans packed into the St Boniface Arena to see the return of speedway to Plymouth. The Devils beat the USA Dream Team 47-42 with skipper Seemond Stephens scoring a spectacular 15-point maximum.
