17 April 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway
WOLVERHAMPTON are on a revenge mission when they face neighbours Coventry in a mouthwatering Bank Holiday derby clash at Monmore Green tonight (7.30). When the sides met at Brandon on Friday the Bees ran out 53-40 winners which means the Monmore men have an uphill battle to claim the aggregate bonus point. A bumper crowd is expected to see the two great rivals do battle with important Elite League points up for grabs. Wolves skipper Peter Karlsson said: ''We were disappointed to lose at their place on Friday because we al through we could have done a little bit better. ''Hopefully we can make up for it tonight but we''ll need to be in top form right from the first race and we''ll be going for it.'' WOLVERHAMPTON: Peter Karlsson, Magnus Karlsson, Ronnie Correy, Freddie Lindgren, Billy Hamill, William Lawson, Christian Hefenbrock. COVENTRY: Chris Harris, Billy Janniro, Morten Risager, Rory Schlein, Scott Nicholls, Martin Smolinski, Oliver Allen.
