WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY NEWS
13 April 2006 - Wolverhampton Speedway

WOLVERHAMPTON face a demanding Good Friday with two crucial Elite League meetings on the same day.

The Monmore men go to Belle Vue, last season''s runners-up, at 11am and then head to reigning champions Coventry in the evening (8pm).

It''s a gruelling schedule for both man and machine but in-form skipper Peter Karlsson insists it doesn''t worry him.

He said: ''It''s good to be busy and I''m sure the fans are looking forward to a day like this.

''They are going to be two very good meetings in my opinion, I really feel we can get something from them and all the boys are buzzing after our win against Peterborough on Monday.''

Both squad reserves William Lawson and Ben Wilson are unavailable on the busiest day in the domestic calendar as they are riding for their Seecond Division clubs - so Lee Smethills (pictured) gets his first chance of the year.

WOLVES: Peter Karlsson, Magnus Karlsson, Ronnie Correy, Freddie Lindgren, Billy Hamill, Lee Smethills, Christian Hefenbrock.
