SPEEDWAY 1 SPEEDWAY returns to Teeside for the first time in a decade on Thursday as Redcar face Sheffield in the Premier Trophy. The Bears, led by ex-World Champion Gary Havelock, are hoping for an opening crowd of around 1,500 at the South Tees Motorsports Park. Track designer Glyn Taylor said: ''I was asked to produce a real challenge for the riders, it''s been a huge job but I''m very pleased with it.'' SPEEDWAY 2 SCB Track Inspector Colin Meredith has carried out a successful visit to Conference League newcomers Plymouth.
