ALBERT CABESTANY SUFFERS
12 April 2006 - Sherco

The second round of the Trials Championship of the World did not turn out to be very positive for the interests of Sherco and Albert Cabestany, in a trial that all of the riders classified as to easy with very little selectivity.

Albert finished the first lap in third place with only seven points, five behind the eventual winner Takahisa Fujinami. But his second lap was marked by five “fiascoes” that turned out to be fatal in a trial that did not forgive any type of error.

Albert Cabestany: “I do not understand very well what has taken place. Without a doubt my concentration was lacking in some of the easy sections, to get fives in these sections is no way to end up with a good final score. I expect to be able to remove this evil taste from my mouth in the next round”.
