SPEEDWAY 1 JOE Screen successfully came through his comeback from a broken collarbone - and is now turning his attention to his machinery. The Belle Vue rider scored seven as the Aces overcame Peterborough by ten points at Kirkmanshulme Lane. Screen said: ''My bike set-up can be better and I hope to have that sorted out for the Coventry match next week.'' SPEEDWAY 2 JANUSZ Kolodziej underlined his growing reputation as he racked up a score of paid 18 from six rides in Reading''s win over Ipswich. Koldziej''s scoring at reserve proved crucial as the Witches kept things tight early on before the Bulldogs came through by ten points. Reading boss Jim Lynch said: ''It was important that we won at home after the two good away wins we have had recently.'' SPEEDWAY 3 EASTBOURNE boss Jon Cook has hailed Nicki Pedersen and Adam Shields after their last heat heroics in the 47-46 weekend win over Peterborough. Pedersen and Shields teamed up for a 5-1 as the Eagles overturned a 10-point deficit. Cook said: ''It was a magnificent effort and a thrilling end to the meeting. The fans loved it and both Nicki and Adam were superb, it was an amazing turnaround.''
