SPEEDWAY 1 OXFORD have confirmed Tony Rickardsson''s last appearances in Cheetahs colours will be the Good Friday clashes with local rivals Reading. The Cowley leg takes place at 11.30am with the return at Smallmead in the evening and bumper crowds are expected. Cheetahs chief Aaron Lanney said: ''It''s the end of an era with Tony''s retirement and I''m sure the fans will turn out in force to say farewell.'' SPEEDWAY 2 BERWICK picked up their first win of the season in a thrilling Premier Trophy clash with Sheffield. Adrian Rymel and skipper Michal Makovsky were the last heat heroes as they pulled off a 3-3 to give the Bandits a 46-44 win. Berwick boss Peter Waite said: ''That was brilliant speedway. It was a great result for us and a very entertaining night which the fans must have enjoyed.''
