KRZYSZTOF Pecyna has left Wolverhampton for personal reasons with immediate effect. Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten was disturbed by the Pole''s recent form after a good display at Poole in the club''s first meeting of the season, and spoke at length with Pecyna following Wednesday''s win at Oxford. He said: ''Krzysztof has not been himself for ten days or so, both with his attitude and his riding which has been rather hit-and-miss. I had sensed that something was not quite right. ''The problem is that he has a brother back in Poland who suffered severe head injuries in the past, and he is now having major surgery. ''Krzysztof is obviously very concerned about him and he has been going back to Poland on a regular basis, which was not part of our arrangement this season. ''However, with a family illness such as this I do have every sympathy and after we had a heart-to-heart chat at Oxford he has decided to take a break from the Elite League. ''I fully understand his situation and I now have the rest of Friday to either try to sign a replacement, or to put in for a short-term facility before we make our next move.''
