Britain''s Bikers go for Quality
Britain''s bikers are spending more on clothing and accessories. That''s the message from Infinity motorcycles, the UK''s biggest retail chain for motorcycles & accessories. The Company, which was founded in 2000, reports that average spending on clothing and accessories has increased by over 75%* in the period April 2003-2004, in spite of the fact that Infinity have been offering some spectacular clearance deals during that time. Senior management believes that this proves that quality is becoming a priority for UK motorcyclists. ''It’s now a year since we took over five of the old Riossi stores,'' explains Clothing & Accessories Director Dave Holloway. ''In that time we’ve turned them around and have recently opened a Dainese Pro Store at our Farnborough branch.” Infinity place great importance on product knowledge and work closely with clothing & accessory manufacturers & importers to ensure that all of their sales people receive full training. * Infinity will not release specific figures, due to commercial confidentiality, but the Company points to the fact that its best selling helmet brands are Arai, Shoei & Schuberth, while Alpinestars and Joe Rocket are their fastest selling clothing brands.
