VENHILL POWERHOSE PLUS BRAKE LINE KIT FOR THE YAMAHA R6
03 April 2006 - Venhill Engineering Limited

Venhill now offers a complete braided steel brake hose kit for the new Yamaha R6, with others to fit the latest sports bikes to follow shortly after.

It is standard practice for top race teams to fit braided hoses as they offer more consistent performance than rubber hoses, which can be seriously affected by external conditions, working temperature and age. Venhill recognises that with 130BHP on tap, R6 owners will want to maximise the stopping power of its dual 310mm front discs.

Venhill Powerhose Plus kits are model-specific and are designed to directly replace the original items. They contain all of the parts required, including durable stainless steel fittings, (although zinc-plated fittings are offered as a lower cost option), and factory-fitted rubber guides.

Every Venhill Powerhose is made in the Company’s UK factory to and tested to surpass 110 bar (1500 psi). The hoses have a super strong stainless steel/Teflon construction, with self-aligning stress-free swivel ends, making them simple to fit and adjust. Owners can choose from stainless hoses with a clear plastic sheath or blue, red, orange, yellow and even ‘original’ black.

The twin hose front kit sells for £66.98 inc. VAT and the single hose rear kit for £34.08 inc. VAT (or £43.48 for twin zinc and £22.33 for the single rear with zinc).
