This neat rack is constructed of strong, lightweight aluminium and is designed specifically for the litre sized Hornet, nestling neatly between the pillion grab handles. However, the really clever feature of the ALU-RACK is that it can be used with most popular brands of hard luggage, including GiVi, Kappa, Shad and Hepco & Becker simply by adding an Adapter Plate. SW-Motech produce brand specific versions as well as a Universal Adapter Plate, all of which are manufactured from fibre reinforced plastic, with a minimal weight of just 370g. The Adapter Plate can be safely and securely attached the ALU-RACK in just a few seconds using one QUICK-LOCK Fastener, which works in much the same way as a Dzus fastener. This cleverly engineered system offers riders a flexible system that incorporates a great looking luggage rack with the possibility to carry top cases as and when required.
