SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURE CHANGES
29 March 2006 - British Speedway Promoters Association
SPEEDWAY 1 SWINDON boss Alun Rossiter is refusing to get carried away by his team''s impressive start to the season. Robins were impressive 53-40 winners over Ipswich at Blunsdon on Tuesday with Leigh Adams unbeaten. Rossiter said: ''It''s nice to have a team full of riders giving 100 per cent effort and we''re going well which is very pleasing, but it''s a long season ahead.'' SPEEDWAY 2 MIKAEL Max insists he will be back in the saddle for new club Arena-Essex in May. The Swede is waiting for a date for surgery to remove metalwork from the thigh he broke last July. He said: ''I have told Arena-Essex I will ride in Britain from sometime in May so at least it gives me another month. If I''m lucky I may still have the operation.''
